  • Overview

    Verification and validation of leads to be used to build a pipeline of business executives who meet the YPO membership criteria. The Prospect Specialist will verify the accuracy of provided leads by utilizing networks such as LinkedIn and international business sites. They will need to think critically to continue to search for information until data is verified. Remote position, must have the ability to work with autonomy and structure. This is a contract position lasting from 1-6 months. 

    Responsibilities

    • Verify and validate new business prospects from multiple sources including professional data bases, company web sites, publications, discovery and individual research.
    • Think critically to search for information using the means necessary to verify leads.
    • Use international sources to verify international leads.
    • Mine all available sources to identify sales leads profile details and contact information.
    • Mine all available sources to generate leads for growth targeted areas as required.
    • Create and maintain records of sales leads in Salesforce.
    • Validate sales leads to meet the YPO criteria as requested by the Join YPO Manager.
    • Track the membership application records in Salesforces to ensure the leads generated do not duplicate with existing applications.
    • Prepare and analyze sales lead pipeline reports and dashboards.

    Qualifications

    Skills

    • Lead verification or generation, data integrity, data mining, research, fact checking and similar experience
    • Proven track record of identifying and managing ‘sales leads’ through research
    • Ability to maintain analyze data and report on data
    • Ability to speak/read/write a second language such as Mandarin or Hindi, etc. very valuable but not required

     

    Experience/Background

    • Lead verification or generation, data integrity, data mining, research, fact-checking and similar experience required
    • Previous experience in a sales environment, verifying leads highly valuable
    • Salesforce proficiency or other CRM proficiency highly valuable
    • Experience utilizing LinkedIn and other business networks as data sources
    • Ability to analyze data and information to verify the integrity of leads
    • Must be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
    • Ability to work with autonomy and with structure while working remotely

     

    Education/Training/Certification

    • Salesforce trained or proven experience preferred but not required
