    Position Title:              Regional Specialist


    Department:                Chapters and Regions


    Reports to (Title):        Regional Director (region-specific)


    Location:                      Dubai / remote work 




    Regional Specialists assist the Regional Directors in supporting chapters to provide their members with a vibrant and valuable YPO experience through oversight of key areas: managing membership processes, driving inter-regional communications, regional data and meetings. Regional Specialists are the primary point of contact for YPO and YPO Gold chapter administrators/managers in the region.




    • Work with chapter administrators on quality assurance of new member applications
    • Manage the renewal, dues payment and resignation processes in collaboration with chapter administrators and member services
    • Maintain regional team sites on the corporate network as well as region sites on the YPO Exchange.
    • Train and develop new and existing chapter administrators on YPO processes and systems*
    • Manage communications with the regional Chapter Administrators regarding YPO processes.
    • Organize, communicate and manage regional board meetings and coordinate all meeting materials in collaboration with other functional team members
    • Facilitate sharing of best practices among YPO chapter administrators in the region as well as inter-regional
    • In conjunction with Regional Director, oversee Regional and Development Funds, including reimbursements for member champions and vendors and assist with management of region
    • Manage and respond to day-to-day requests from chapters, chapter administrators, regional officers and management team
    • Support the development and execution of chapter administrator workshops as assigned, including the development and periodic review of associated
    • Collaborate with the Regional Director to develop and implement plans for successful systems and processes to achieve organizational goals.

    Additional Primary Responsibilities:

    • Key processes and policies for CAs: data entry of officer identification and chapter health
    • Manages effective and efficient communication (regional conference calls, in-person meetings, board meeting and strategic planning sessions) with regional executive committee, regional board, chapter officers and functional team
    • Provide and update regional and chapter statistical information on a regular basis for the regional executive committee, chapter officers and chapter
    • Visits all chapters in the region once per year, in conjunction with the Regional Director, including chapter board meetings and chapter strategic planning
    • Maintain data in CRM (where applicable) and
    • Special projects like newspapers, e-newsletters, branding, strategic alliances, regional CA meetings and any other region-specific
    • Special projects on an assignment basis in conjunction with the Senior Manager, CA
    • Produce regional executive committee meetings and regional board meetings including logistics, communications, contract negotiations, onsite management and pre/post meeting





    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in an environment of changing priorities
    • Meet critical deadlines and set priorities in a timely fashion
    • Excellent written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and commitment to detail
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
    • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
    • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed
    • Works collaboratively in a multi-cultural organization with international members



    • Professional business experience working with chief executives (3 - 5 years)
    • Work in a remote office environment, supporting high-level customers (3 - 5 years)
    • Membership, association, or non-profit organization experience helpful (2 - 4 years)



    • Foundation or associate's degree in non-profit organization management, business, or related field
    • Professional certificate in meeting management a plus
    • Certified associate in project management a plus



    • Ability to travel extensively (domestically and internationally).
