Position Title:              Chapter Administrator, China

Reports to (Title):        Membership Council Project Lead, China

The Chapter Administrator will work closely with the Membership Council Project Lead for China and with the respective Member Champions in China to enhance the visibility and viability of YPO in by supporting the growth of existing chapters, development of new chapters and recruitment of new prospects in mainland China.




  • Coordinate with the membership council lead to conduct research in the China to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources.
  • Assist the membership council lead with outreach to existing members and champions to determine chapter growth viability in China.
  • Work with the Join YPO managers to develop and grow the prospect pipeline.
  • Identify and report to the Join YPO Manager any opportunities to move a prospect lead to a prospective member/application funnel.
  • Maintain communication with prospects to ensure all needs and activities are met through member conversion.
  • Assist the membership council project lead with administrative, travel, coordination and planning functions associated with the project.
  • Collaborate with the join YPO manager, membership recruitment manager and senior manager, membership recruitment on efforts to identify leads suitable to the chapters’ needs and opportunities for new member recruitment and chapter development.
  • Supports all chapter formation steps until new chapters are formed.




  • Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with proven track record of working independently.
  • Strong research and administration skills.
  • High level of professionalism, stature and interpersonal skills to interact with C-suite executives, YPO prospects and YPO members and to maintain professional demeanor in high-stress situations.
  • Ability to professionally collaborate in an internationally based, multi-cultural organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, analytical and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot, and provide effective solutions.
  • Prior CA work preferred
  • Event management experience preferred.



  • At least three years of experience in a not-for-profit or service industry environment.
  • At least two years of experience in as an administrative professional.
  • Proven history of building strong customer partnerships resulting in high levels of customer service.
  • Project management.
  • Experienced in use of client relationship management software. Experience with SalesForce highly preferred.



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.



  • Abel to travel, as required, to various cities in China, including: Guangzhou, Xiamen, Hangzhou, Kunshan, Xian
  • Part time work with possibility of full time work
  • Assignment lasts through FY18-19
