The Administrator ensures YPO is maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of FinancialForce, based on various user group needs. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly. You will also serve as the go-to resource for users, promote adoption, keep current on new releases and "AppExchange" solutions, and provide user training and best practices.



  • Driving the innovative use of FinancialForce as a productivity tool and business platform.
  • Performing day-to-day administrative tasks, such as customizing and implementing profiles, roles, security settings, rules, dashboards, reports, etc.
  • Interfacing with end users to understand feature requirements and/or address support issues; working collaboratively with Finance, Product Management, Salesforce admins and Salesforce developers on more complex requests and issues.
  • Maintaining and enhancing visual layouts, clicklinks, integrations, workflow rules and business logic to enhance business processes and improve user experience.
  • Deploying Salesforce metadata between non-production and production environments.
  • Creating documentation, maintaining standardization and proactively seeking ways to continuously improve processes & procedures.
  • Developing, launching and managing in-depth dashboards and reports for all team functions at both management and individual levels.
  • Remaining current on FinancialForce/salesforce best practices and technologies and advising on these practices for salesforce-based solutions.
  • Resolving issues with FinancialForce and related applications.
  • Working with salesforce support to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation and performance of the platform.
  • Communicating system changes to management team in advance, manage new releases and system changes and efficiently rolling out new features without interruption to the user.
  • Maintaining System, Security and Integrity - design, create and maintain multiple user setup, roles, profiles and hierarchies; grant/remove and maintain user licenses; maintain security including sharing rules and security levels; map hierarchies and reassign records in response to personnel changes.
  • Monitoring application storage usage and archiving data as needed.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for FinancialForce and Force.com applications.
  • Developing and delivering training sessions for existing or new users/groups on an ongoing basis; creating and updating training materials.


  • 5+ years' Salesforce.com administration experience overall; exposure to FinancialForce is preferred.
  • Knowledge of core financial areas (e.g. AP, AR, GL, FA), with the ability to transform business objectives and functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proven experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies.
  • Capable of managing the migration of change sets from development and testing sandboxes into the production instance.
  • Self-starter with a ability to use initiative and work autonomously or as part of a team on multiple efforts.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills along with excellent Word, Visio and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with individuals at different levels and cultural backgrounds within the organization.
  • Strong collaboration skills for interaction with cross-functional business partners and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully learn and embrace new technologies, applications and solutions.
  • Proficiency with extract, transform and load (ETL) tools to create and maintain integrations.
  • Expertise with automated tools to perform analysis and reporting. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.
