    Position Purpose

     We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic candidate join our Marketing and Communications team as an event marketing coordinator to provide support for YPO’s Network Events

    The coordinator will support the senior manager, events communications and the project manager, events communications to proactively support administrative duties and marketing/communications activities related to event marketing.


    Primary Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support to Senior Manager, Events Communications and the Project Manager, events communications for event Cvent pages, Act On email campaigns, Basecamp projects, project management
    • Manage and populate calendars for marketing campaigns.
    • Open and monitor Basecamp projects
    • Populate landing pages on our internal website, which utilizes the Cvent platform.
    • Source and facilitate the hero and banner images for Cvent pages
    • Populate the Go Beyond online events catalog (Word Press)
    • Compile distribution lists, facilitating email marketing campaigns and monitoring progress of targeted marketing campaigns.
    • Load emails to internal email system and facilitate and monitor email tests for quality assurance.
    • Organize and monitor event marketing pieces for easy archiving and reporting of projects.


    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of the Cvent platform, Adobe InDesign and Wordpress a plus. Basic working knowledge of HTML.
    • Quick study who can easily pick up new processes and procedures.
    • Experience working for a decentralized organization preferred.
    • Familiarity with Basecamp, Smart Sheets, Work Groups, Sales Force and other online project management software.
    • Impeccable grammar and written communications skills required; knowledge of AP style preferred.
    • Basic experience working in a web platform such as Word Press or similar a plus.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, change course of action quickly, flexible.
    • Detail oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
    • Exceptional organizational and follow-thru skills with the ability to work on many projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to communicate with people of all levels of the organization, and external vendors, contractors.
    • Ability to listen actively and effectively communicate their thoughts to others.
    • Ability to work alone but also as a team with fellow staff in the business setting and actively seek out advice and/or guidance in order to solve problems.
    • Must have good time management skills and actively seek to accomplish tasks and be able to use a variety of methods and ideas to solve problems; also be open to suggestions from others in order to find solutions.
    • BA/BS degree in marketing or business or equivalent work experience.
