    Contract type & duration:     Initially contract for 3 to 6 months / possibility of being extended OR conversion to full-time employee 

     

    Location:                                   Dallas (Irving) TX / Office based  

     

    POSITION PURPOSE

    The Senior Manager, Human Resources & Organizational Development is a strategic project leader and HR Business Partner working across the organization.  The role is a focused as a strategic HR Business Partner to select teams across the organization as well as responsible for critical HR systems, processes and projects.  As an astute HR leader, their expertise will flourish with experience in:  change management, employee engagement strategy, leadership development, organizational design, performance management process, HR laws globally, HR policy management, and other projects and processes.

    Responsibilities

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Leading and developing others thru influence and subject matter expertise on organizational design and development.
    • HR Business Partner liaising with select departments and senior leaders on all aspects of HR, OD and leadership development.
    • Responsible for coaching, advising, guiding and instructing managers on HR processes and policies.
    • Provides HR expertise in global employment law and practices, specializing in multiple countries including Canada, India, South Africa, United States and United Kingdom.
    • Serves as the champion and project owner of performance management for the organization.
    • Responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of the performance management processes at YPO including annual individual goal setting, mid-year, and year-end assessments.
    • Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and manage performance processes that align with the YPO strategy and business practice.
    • Responsible for MBTI tools, and facilitation.
    • Responsible for and directs the Employee Engagement processes across YPO.
    • Coaches and supports managers and team members on the YPO performance improvement process.
    • Conducts research and develops /recommends solutions on HR related projects, processes and policies aligned to YPO strategy, culture and business practices.
    • Develops processes to organize and streamline information flow and provides superior customer service to departments and management team members.
    • Supports the on-boarding and separation process for departing team members.
    • Assists with the maintenance of the Human Resources intranet site page(s).
    • Demonstrated knowledge of and ease of using various HR tools and systems.
    • Expertise in mediating and driving resolution in employee relations situations.
    • Responsible for appropriate, accurate and effective communications.

    EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND

    • Minimum 10+ years OD, HR business partner, generalist or director related experience.
    • Experience partnering with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Sensitivity to a multi-cultural, global environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of global HR employment law, regulations, compliance and practices.

     

    EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field. Masters’ degree in HR, OD, Org. Behavior or MBA preferred.
    • CIPD, PHR, SPHR or other HR certification preferred.
