Overview

YPO's Product Management team is growing, and we are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to liaise between our business customers and technical teams on organization-wide projects centered around our 25,000+ member-facing CRM (salesforce) application.  You will work closely with Product Managers and consult with the business to understand its goals and objectives, and translate them into requirements and design via user story workshops, surveys, task/workflow analysis, and other elicitation techniques.  You will also collaborate with business and implementation partners to optimize business processes and information.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the approach for the requirements gathering phase and deliverables.
  • Facilitate meetings with business partners and communicate technical information using functional terminology.
  • Assess impact of new requirements on existing functionality, and partner with technical team for documentation.
  • Serve as product evangelist and foster relationships with Members, Chapter Administrators and Management Team. 
  • Assist Product Managers with key aspects of their responsibilities like backlog, dependencies, and development of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Verify defects for consistency and quality control.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years' B/A experience with specialization in CRM technology and/or product facing roles, including extensive planning and deployment of IT-related initiatives.
  • Functional knowledge of packaged CRM solutions (salesforce, Siebel) is helpful.
  • Prior experience supporting a member-driven organization (private or public sector) is a plus.
  • Fluency with Agile methodology and partnering with product owners.
  • Industry certifications (SCRUM, ABA) are nice to have. 
  • Ability to write clear, concise documentation for stakeholders.
  • Well-versed with a variety of web-based and online technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Comfortable among a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Proven experience refining requirements through a variety of techniques (e.g. JAD sessions).
  • Adept time management and prioritization skills.
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally upwards of 20% is required.
  • Ability to effectively drive all phases of software development and project/product life cycles.
  • Good knowledge of UAT and defect resolution principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science or related field(s).
